Baytown Police Seek Public’s Help in Homicide Investigation and Locating Person of Interest

The Baytown Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Shady Hill Dr., Baytown, Texas. On Sunday, December 29, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old male from Baytown with a gunshot wound. Officers immediately began life-saving measures until Baytown Fire and EMS arrived and took over. Despite all efforts, the male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Baytown detectives are now leading the investigation.

The male pictured is a person of interest in this case, and we need the public’s help in locating him. He has been identified as 17-year-old Leondre Lynn, who is originally from Port Arthur, Texas, and has been living in Baytown for a couple of months.
