ASTROS SPRING TRAINING INFORMATION

HOUSTON, TX – The first official Spring Training workout for Astros pitchers and catchers is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 at the CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches complex in West Palm Beach, FL. The first official workout for the entire squad is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18. This will be the Astros ninth season training at the complex West Palm Beach, which they share with the Washington Nationals.

TRUCK DAY: On Thursday, Feb. 6, the Astros equipment truck is scheduled to depart from Daikin Park en route to West Palm Beach. Media are invited to cover the truck being loaded that morning. Information on timing will be released closer to the date.

FAN ACCESS

Astros workouts will once again be open to fans at no charge beginning Feb. 13 at 10:00 a.m. ET. on most days.  The Astros/Nationals Team Store at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches will be open to the public beginning Feb. 10. Non-game day hours are 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Saturday (ET).  Game day hours for the general public are 9 a.m. until one hour before first pitch.

GAME SCHEDULE

The Astros will begin Grapefruit League play on Saturday, Feb. 22 when they host the Washington Nationals at 1:05 p.m. ET. The Astros will be playing with a split squad on that day as they will also take on the Mets in Port St. Lucie at 1:10 p.m. Please note that the full Astros 2025 Spring Training schedule is attached to this release.

ASTROS SPRING TRAINING BROADCAST INFO.

Space City Home Network will carry 10 Spring Training/Exhibition games live this season. The talented broadcast team of Todd Kalas, Geoff Blum and Julia Morales are back to call the action. The full list of the 10 games scheduled to be televised is below (subject to change):

BREAKOUT GAME: Top prospects from the Astros and Nationals will play a game at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches on Friday, Mar. 13 at 2:05 p.m. ET in the second annual Breakout Game. The Astros will also host the Blue Jays in a standard Spring Training game that evening at 6:05 p.m.

ON THE RADIO: SportsTalk 790 will air all Astros Spring Training games in Florida with the exception of the two split-squad road games. The popular broadcast duo of Robert Ford and Steve Sparks return for their 13th consecutive season as the Astros radio team. Engineer extraordinaire Matt Boltz also returns to run the broadcasts.

ASTROLINE RADIO SHOW: During Spring Training, Astroline will broadcast live from West Palm Beach on SportsTalk 790. All five shows will be broadcast from Duffy’s Sports Grill, with the first four taking place at the downtown Clematis St. location and the final show taking place on Village Blvd. Astroline dates are: Feb. 20, Feb. 26, Mar. 5, Mar. 13 and Mar. 20 (Note – Dates subject to change).

MINOR LEAGUE CAMP: First official workout for minor league pitchers and catchers is scheduled for Feb. 26; First full-squad workout is scheduled for March 4.
