BHISD Girls basketball playoff run begins Monday
Winners of 12 straight games and a District 19-5A title, the Barbers Hill High School girls basketball team (28-7, 13-1) will try to get back to the Regional Finals and beyond in 2025.
The march to the state finals in San Antonio for the No. 17 state-ranked Eagles starts Monday versus Santa Fe (11-14, 6-6) at Clear Lake High School. Tip off at 6 p.m.
Under sixth-year coach Bryan Harris, Barbers Hill is on a roll: they’ve won 14 of their last 15 contests en route to the team’s third straight district title.
The team led is by senior Rachel Glynn, who recorded her 1,000 point earlier this season, and Jayci Lackey. Other players to watch include Kynlee Kejonen, Brooklyn Roberson, Maddie Collins and Autumn LeCompte.
