Baytown Announces $750,000 Catalyst Grant
The nationwide search is on to bring the first, best, and the only to Baytown. The City of Baytown is proud to announce the launch of the Baytown Catalyst Fund, a grant that provides up to $750,000 in seed money to bring a new amenity, business, or event to the community. This fund is designed to fuel new economic development and tourism projects, while attracting additional investments. By leveraging public-private partnerships, this grant also aims to create jobs, while transforming Baytown into a dynamic destination for both residents and visitors.
Applicants can request between $100,000 and $750,000 per project for up to 70% of the project cost. They will also be required to submit a pre-application to show interest in the grant. The projects that show strong potential in meeting the objective of the grant will be invited to submit a formal application, a business plan, financials, and market research. Final grant allocations will be determined by the City’s Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC).
Innovation doesn’t wait and neither will this grant money. Interested parties can apply on the Baytown Catalyst web page.
