City Council Approved an ordinance authorizing an Interlocal Agreement for Emergency Services with Harris County Emergency Services District No. 75
On Thursday, the City Council approved a proposed ordinance that authorizes an Interlocal Agreement for Emergency Services with Harris County Emergency Services District No. 75 (the “District”).
In 2013, shortly after the District was created, the City of Baytown entered into an agreement to provide emergency services, including Fire, EMS, and first responder services, within the boundaries of the District for a three-year term, which expired on January 31, 2016. Following the initial agreement, the City and the District entered into three consecutive three-year agreements, with the most recent expiring on January 31, 2025.
The term of this agreement is for three (3) years, beginning February 1, 2025, and ending January 31, 2028.
