City Council Approved an ordinance granting an access easement to the Harris County Flood Control District for drainage and access purposes on city-owned land
On Thursday, the City Council approved an ordinance granting an access easement to the Harris County Flood Control District for drainage and access purposes on city-owned land.
The property is a tract of land that sits between Jenkins and Hollaway Park, located in Harris County, Texas.
The Harris County Flood Control District has requested an easement for public drainage and access purposes. The easement will grant the Harris County Flood Control District the right to operate, maintain, repair, inspect, replace, and remove drainage facilities within the easement area.
The City of Baytown retains the right to use the easement area for purposes that do not interfere with the Harris County Flood Control District Grantee’s rights. The proposed easement has been reviewed and determined to be in the public interest.
