City Council approved payment to Cummins Inc., for generator repair service at the Baytown Area Water Authority Fritz Lanham Water Treatment Plant

On Thursday, the City Council approved payment to Cummins Inc., for generator repair service at the Baytown Area Water Authority Fritz Lanham Water Treatment Plant.

This proposed ordinance approves payment to Cummins Inc., for generator repair service at the Baytown Area Water Authority Fritz Lanham Water Treatment Plant in the amount of $157,601.75 through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #092222. The Fritz Lanham Water Treatment Plant experienced an interruption to Generator No. 3, due to an aftercooler rupture which resulted in a coolant leak. This rupture was caused by normal wear from general operations. The total cost of all expected charges for the repair is $157,601.75.

This payment was presented at the Baytown Area Water Authority meeting held on January 30, 2025.
