On Thursday, the City Council authorized a professional services agreement with Carollo Engineers, Inc., for the City of Baytown Capacity Assessment and Capital Improvement Plan Development for the Wastewater Treatment Plants.
This proposed ordinance authorizes a professional services agreement with Carollo Engineers, Inc., for the City of Baytown Capacity Assessment and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Development for the Wastewater Treatment Plants in the amount of $232,188.00. Carollo will evaluate and determine the capacity needed for treating project flows and loading for a 10-year period for the current permit condition and the impact on the four (4) wastewater treatment plants. Carollo Engineers will also compare the capacity of the existing liquid and solids stream process units to the projected capacity needs (influent flows and loads) and the subsequent regulatory requirements.
