City Council authorized a professional services agreement with Safebuilt, LLC to provide third party permit review and inspection for the San Jacinto Marketplace development project

On Thursday, the City Council authorized a professional services agreement with Safebuilt, LLC to provide third party permit review and inspection for the San Jacinto Marketplace development project.

As the developers of San Jacinto Marketplace begin submitting permits for development, it is noted that a project of this magnitude presents a major challenge in terms of timing and volume of services needed by the developer and relies on review and inspection staff having the capacity to provide services that exceed the City’s normal customer service capacity. To provide the service needed, staff seeks to contract with Safebuilt, LLC to provide these permit review and inspection services specific to the San Jacinto Marketplace development project. The cost of this service will be paid by the permit applicant, plus an administrative fee to cover City staff management of the process and the consultant.
