| ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a small fire on the exterior of a home. They quickly extinguished the fire and forced entry into the home through burglar bars. Smoke and a small amount of fire was found inside, and crews conducted a primary search. Two victims were located and taken to receive immediate medical care by HFD EMS. Both individuals were transported to the hospital, where tragically, they were pronounced deceased. Firefighters extinguished hot spots inside the home and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 47 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 58, 30, 31, 34, 15, 9, 19, Heavy Rescue 11 and Rescue 1. |
