Investigation into Fatal Crash at 14800 Westheimer Road

Houston police officers are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 14800 Westheimer Road about 3:50 a.m. on Sunday (January 19).  

The identity of the deceased male, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The driver of a black Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound on Westheimer at the above address when the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and struck a pole and flipped over. The driver was ejected and responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.

The investigation is continuing.
