Investigation into Male Found Fatally Shot at 9642 Intervale Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 9642 Intervale Street about 2:20 p.m. on Monday (Jan. 20).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Michon and A. Herrera reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found a male unresponsive in the driver’s side of a vehicle in the parking lot. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound and paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Evidence indicated the shooting occurred nearby, in an apartment complex parking lot at 9800 Hollock Street. It appears the victim managed to drive to the Intervale Street location where someone called 911.

At this time, there is no known suspect or motive in the shooting.
