Shoplifting Suspect Turns Theft into Aggravated Robbery at Sports Store
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a shoplifting turned aggravated robbery.
On Monday, November 4, 2024 at around 8:00 pm, an unknown male entered a sports store, located at the 10400 block of Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The male walked to the shoe section, put on a new pair of shoes, and began walking towards the exit without paying for the merchandise. A store employee approached the suspect, who then pulled out a box cutter, threating the employee. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #1547702-24
Suspect description: White male, 55 to 60 years old, 5’3 to 5’5, 150 to 180 pounds, dark hair, gray stripe shirt, blue jacket and jeans.
